Firefox, Gimp and cups

I installed fedora core 3 last night.
The cups driver work perfectly with openoffice and other programs but
not with gimp and firefox. I have to tell gimp every time which driver
should it use and I simply can't print with firefox that seem to see
only one printer called 'postscript/epson'.

Whot should I do in order to print with all the programs?
