Did you try to print a test page? If so, what happens?
What kind of network? (domain or workgroup?)
How is printer connected to network? (does it have its own IP or through a
computer?)
Is there a print server?
Program versions?
Fedora version?
KDE or Gnome?
I',m using two printers connected to a Netgear PS110 (print server). Brother
HL1440 & Epson Photo Stylus 2200. Both are working fine in both linux (FC3)
and winblows (XP & 2000 pro). Queue type is LPD, queue name is P1(laseer) or
P2(ink jet), server is 192.168.0.70.
Give us more info so we can help.
