Shutdown in one step?

Gnome does but KDE doesn't, although other distro's KDE versions do so there
has to be a way of enabling it, does any body know how too?

This is confusing. Under gnome the logout screen does have a shutdown
option. I assume it is there in KDE also.

Or am I misunderstanding you.
