That worked - previously I was leaving off the '-fedora' suffix.  Now I 
can start x, although it doesn't happen automatically, even though I am 
in runlevel 5.  And it seems to be missing some fonts.  And the mouse 
doesn't work, even though it is recognized on startup (serial mouse).
