Background images

    Hi, I use the attached script to generate an xplanet backgrond as
wall paper for my FC3 system.  On FC2 all worked fine, but now it draws
the images, then it blanks the backround untill the script generates a
new image and then repeats.

Any clues as to why this is now failing?
