A quicky on audio

hello everybody,
   i am using an asus a7n8x*x mother board, with Nvidia (r)nforce sound 
and  an amd athlon 600x processor and I have no sound under fc3. The dvd 
drives, one a dvd copier and the other a dvd drive, are both recognized 
by fc3 and they work when I put data disks in them. Everything is read. 
Unfortunately with sound under kde the programme says that it can not 
find a disk. Lost completely here. Can anybody help me or head me in the 
right direction? Thanks very much.. Sorry about the double post but i
