FC3 hangs while in energy saving mode

Hi there!

I have a AMD-64 with FC3 installed. I already entered rhgb quiet and 
acpi=off but still after the computer goes into energy saving mode it 
hangs. Weird thing is that there is still a signal to the monitor or 
else the led would be orange instead of green. Is there another option I 
should enter in the grub.conf?
