Two thoughts : one, the jargon term to "burst" a digest may help search.

Two, if you don't mind using a newsreader, you can follow this list on
gmane. It's gmane.linux.redhat.fedora.general and you get it by pointing
your client (I like Pan from rebelbase.com ; it may already be part of
your distro.) to news.gmane.org
