Upgraded to FC# and lost modem

What serial port is the modem connected to, a symbolic line from that serial 
port to /dev/modem should do the trick.  But I am superized that it wasn't 
detected @ boot was it powered on? What is o/p of ll /dev/ttyS* this will 
tell you if your serial ports have been seen.
