I never tried gnucash, so I can't say anythng about it. But KMyMoney has 
worked well for me. However, Yu may have to compile it yourself. look at:
http://kmymoney2.sourceforge.net/index.html

Also, MoneyDance has been cited in this list before:
http://moneydance.com/

but is commercial, so you'd have to pay for it.
