[OT] VNC key translations

Hi,

Is it possible to translate multiple key strokes over VNC.
I'm trying to map Ctrl+Shift+F9 to Alt+F9. Tried putting this
in .Xresources
*desktop.translations: #override\n\
  Shift Ctrl <Key>F9: SendRFBEvent(key,Alt) SendRFBEvent(key,F9)
But didn't work.
