Does fedora mt-st-0.7-13.1.i386 rpm work on RHL 9?

Maybe you should try.
Download the src rpm and recompile.

rpmbuild --rebuild [name_of_src-rpm]

Then look under /usr/src/redhat/RPMS/i386
If all went fine you see it there.
