What is your problem?
echo $LANG
and then choose the part without the UTF-8 suffix. As I said,
ISO-8859-15 for me is de_DE at euro, ISO-8859-1 is de_DE. I guess for you
it would be
alias isopine='LANG=no_NO pine'
Then start pine with command "isopine".

From the sytem menu -> System Settings -> Login Screen -> on tab
Security deactivate "TCP connections to the X server always reject"
You will have to restart X to make the change active (which is btw. done
by the GUI tool in /etc/X11/gdm/gdm.conf: section [security]
#DisallowTCP=true).
For X forwarding please read too the FC3 release notes. OpenSSH changed
in this regard.
