How so?

# chown root:root /home/profiles
# chmod 711 /home/profiles
# mkdir /home/profiles/user1
# chown user1:user1 /home/profiles/user1
# chmod 770 /home/profiles/user1

And that way you don't clutter up your Unix homedir with your windows 
profile.
