[/snip] you need support for at least 8k-stack. for this issue, you get a kernel at linuxant for FC3. Just download
and install with rpm -ivh (not update!!!!!)

...have a look at the RedHat/Fedora -Section, there is the Stack-Problem explained and solutions are proposed.
