veritas remote agent for linux

I had the same problem.
I left it overnight and the "Unix Agent" showed up the next dat. I guess
the BU Exec 9.0 needed some time to do its thing. Now it works great and
real fast.

Give it some time

No, there is no firewall, tried service iptables stop,
still the same.  May I know whether linux need to be
install with veritas backup agent in order to accept
port 10000? or by default it will accept?
