So you have an ntfs module for 2.6.9-1.681_FC3smp but not for 
2.6.9-1.681_FC3.stk16smp

If you are running kernel 2.6.9-1.681_FC3.stk16smp, this is to be expected.

If you are running kernel 2.6.9-1.681_FC3.stk16smp, you will also need 
to install an ntfs module built for that kernel.
