Re-installing GRUB on FC3

I haven't had a chance to try the recheck, but the device map produced 
every time I run it looks good.

(fd0)    /dev/fd0
(hd0)    /dev/hde
(hd1)    /dev/hdg

/dev/hda and /dev/hdc are optical drives, while /dev/hde and /dev/hdg 
are hard drives.  /dev/hdg1 is the /boot partition and 
/dev/VolGroup00/root is my root partition.  /dev/hde1 is WinXP and I'm 
trying to install GRUB on /dev/hde.
