Thats pretty much the same error I was getting for a while. The bad 
block device and wrong fs type part of the error message just means that 
you're attempting to mount a device that doesn't exist. On your system 
the CD drive could be named something else other than /dev/hdc. On my 
system it is so named because I've got two IDE hard drives in the box. 
If you've only got one hdd in your box then very likely your CD drive is 
named thusly:

	/dev/hdb
