error on recompiling kernel...

Hi,

How can I get around the following error?

# rpmbuild --rebuild kernel-2.6.9-1.681_FC3.src.rpm 
Installing kernel-2.6.9-1.681_FC3.src.rpm
error: Architecture is not included: i386

The kernel src.rpm is obtained from Fedora updates repository.
