FC3 x86_64 boot hangs at HAL Daemon

Simalar response for me. Same system lock-up but mine displays the boot 
sequence with 'Starting HAL Daemon .....{OK]' as the last item on the list.

After watching closely, I've found that I get the same 'powernow-k8 
failed' as you do.

AMD Cool & Quiet is enabled (although I get the same response with it 
enabled)

ACPI 2.0 Support:        [No]
ACPI APIC Support:    [Enabled]

If I need to post other BIOS data, I'll be glad to. Please let me know 
which parts.....
