debian & fedora together

My thanks to John, Jim and others. I did get it to work with a dual boot of 
debian and fedora.

The key was to add to debian's grub configuration file 'menu.lst', the lines 
that fedora wanted in its grub configuration file 'grub.conf'. 

The initrd seems to be the key statement as debian's menu.lst was almost 
correct except for the initrd.

I suspect that chainloader will work as well, but for now, I am declaring 
success and moving on to the next part of this quest.
