Gustavo,
this is a valid and very true point, in any case fiddling around with
existing partitions. _Always have a current and working full backup if
moving, resizing or even converting partitions and having data you want
to keep_! Not only true for Linux applications like (qt)parted, but
commercial tools like Partition Magic do popup such a warning for having
a backup too.
