Corrupt mouse cursor

FC3 installed. Using KDE, any mouse cursor other than the default arrow 
displays as an square image that reminds me of a bar code. The weird thing 
is that the cursors display correctly occasionally when I log out and log 
back in.

Video card is a Matrox Millennium G450.

I've searched the archives, but nothing comes up.

Sound familiar to anyone?
