Raid 1

I've only done this once before, and it was quite a while ago.  BUT, I
believe you do have to run a software utility to get the drive operating as
a RAID array.  I set this up under RH8 (I think it was), and I think that it
found the array automatically, but there were some things I had to do to get
it working right.  Seems like it was something to do with raidutil and the
/dev/md device, but it's been too long to know for sure.  I don't know if it
will help or not, but I found this link on a quick google....

I might be totally wrong, but if you set up the RAID as hardware RAID, from
the OS's point of view there is only one hard drive - so there is _no_ OS /
software stuff to do.
