Jason,

I had a similar problem. My solution was to add a second drive with XP 
on it. The bloated M$ code was so heavy that I strained my back the 
next time I tried to move the case. 

IMHO, there's nothing you can add to Linux to make it heavy enough. 
Sorry, just not in it's genetic coding.
