Wireless no longer working

hey all,

My wireless was working fine this morning on my
laptop.  Went into the office (wired connection) and
did some updates.  I just came home, and my wireless
no longer works.  Help!

in the menu, System Settings->Network no longer exists

I vaguely remember something like kernel-pcmcia being
one of the updates.  I'm assuming that had something
to do with it, but it could've been any of the updates
today.  How do I get it back to how it was?
