cannot open /dev/pts/0

Hi,
I'm working through fixing some of the errors reported in my daily logwatch 
email.

After Googling for this a while, most people are asking if the OP is booting 
with rhgb, but I haven't seen an explanation or solution.

I am booting w/ rhgb.  Any ideas?
