OT (sorta): Hexen?

Has anyone gotten a port of Hexen working in Fedora Core (or any recent 
distro)?  If so, can you give me some pointers on how to do it?

I've been able to get DOOM going, (with legacy_141_linux) and that's 
really cool.  It sorta takes me back to the old DOS 6.2, 386DX, 8MB 
SIMM, 40MB MFM HDD, dialin' up to the BBS days.

But I digress.

I have a hexen.wad I'd like to revisit as well.

I've Googled "hexen linux" and downloaded a few port sources, but can't 
get any of them to compile and run...
