One small thing...I would encourage the staff writers to think about
implementing a minimal open peer-review process before publishing
howto's for general consumption. 

A simple thing to do would be have something like a pending
directory/feed where new howto/tutorials go for a few days(a week at
most) and encourage technically inclined people reading fedoranews to
review the howtos before they are made generally available on the sites
frontpage and normal rss feed.
