I'd love to see Core on 1-2 CDs plus optional Extras CDs. A basic set
of Extras ISOs could be made available at each release. Basically, put
the core OS on 1 CD then everything else (servers, development,
multimedia, etc) on optional CDs 2,3,4,5...
Maybe even provide a tool to generate custom ISOs from a YUM repository
for selected packages and their dependencies. For example, one could
make new/updated Extras CDs between major releases. (Or create
fedora-updates CDs.)
