Linux 'n games

Most people like myself have no idea how to program a script  or even a
simple program. I am just happy I found a user-friendly and stable
alternative to Windows. 

But you are right that there are many people complain about the lack if 
games for Linux but most computer users can't program. I can't program
even though I did some programming as a kid in basic and Pascal, but
that's ages ago and thus I won't pretend that I can. I also lack the
time to learn programming. I spend most of my free time to learn about
Linux and I wouldn't mind a game or two to relax instead of killing my
brain about how I could get Need for Speed III running under Linux. It's
already difficult enough to find out why the Tux Icons work under my
root login but not my user login (and no, its not the rights issue, I'm
just to stupid to do it right).

Thing is, there are two different type of users around: those who know
about computers and programming and those who don't. I am part of the
second group and I am already happy when I find the switch to turn on
the PC ;)

Keep it stupid, keep it simple, thats the way for the software
illiterate Joe average.
