Installing Core 1 on HP notebook

I managed to get FC1 to install on my HP notebook which sounds the same 
as yours.  I had to hook up an external USB keyboard and USB mouse to 
get teh install to work.  After The install was completed I unhooked the 
mouse and keyboard and the local keyboard and touchpad worked just fine.
