Did anyone ever answer this?
After doing a lot of research on bittorrent, I have installed it according to
the instructions at http://torrent.dulug.duke.edu/btrpms/
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong....
If you'll do a rpm -ql bittorrent, you'll see that it doesn't include
'btdownloadgui.py', which is the file you should point your browser to in
order to have a gui pop up when you download a .torrent file.
I tried installing an rpm of bittorrent-gui, which does include
btdownloadgui.py, but it depends on 'wxPythonGTK' (I think), which it says is
not installable.
So then, I found an rpm of wxPythonGTK, and installed it. Still no joy, it
said there is no loadable module for wxPythonGTK.wx.
Sooooo..., I uninstalled all that, re-installed the original rpm from
http://torrent.dulug.duke.edu/btrpms/, and ran the command it reccomends from
a shell, and I'm now downloading FC2-test-binary-i386 at 123.7 KB/s.
