Let's see..  Within 1 minute of starting typing the following, my uptime 
was reset to 0... :(

while (true) do
mount <nfs filesystem> <loc>
ls -alFR <loc> > /dev/null
umount <loc>
sleep 5
done

Well, at least it's repeatable... :)
