On console or in xterm: lspci (you can add -v or -vv for increasing
verbosibility). As a result you may get a line i.e.

00:0b.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corp. 82557/8/9 [Ethernet Pro 100]

Most drivers are already in the kernel and on Fedora available as
modules to load. Only for just a few very new NICs you may need to hope
that the manufacturer has own drivers.
