install fails with bogus "out of space" error?

Hi!
I'm trying to install Fedora on my new Dell Inspiron 8600. Everything
goes smoothy at first. When it gets to the point where it says it's
copying the install image to the selected disk, the install fails,
citing lack of disk space as a likely cause. This is probably bogus,
sseeing as how the selected partition is about 15GB. Any guesses?
