Since this is my first post this year:
Happy New Year all!!!
Well since, well I can't remember if it was after my last kernel upgrade, now
on 2.4.22-1.2135.nptl with a Athlon XP 2000.
Running Fedora 1, all latest updates etc with apt-get. My apt-get sources.list
out of interest is:
rpm http://download.fedora.us/fedora fedora/1/i386 os updates stable
rpm-src http://download.fedora.us/fedora fedora/1/i386 os updates stable
rpm http://ayo.freshrpms.net fedora/linux/1/i386 core updates freshrpms
rpm http://apt.ling.li fedora/1/i586 li unstable
rpm http://apt.sw.be redhat/fc1/en/i386 dag
rpm ftp://apt-rpm.tuxfamily.org/apt fedora/1/i386 os updates testing extra
rpm-src ftp://apt-rpm.tuxfamily.org/apt fedora/1/i386 os updates testing extra

Here's my lsmod. It looks to me that everything is loaded fine, but still no
sound. Sound through my radio device on the WinTV card (bttv - BT878) is
fine, but why doesn't the normal sound work? It does sometimes.

The 2 installs and removes are one line.

Could it be the /etc/modprobe.conf line that removes the sound-slot-1 device??
