Subject: Duplicating a working Fedora Drive

| Is there a tool in (or available to) Fedora that can be used to image
| the complete Fedora drive onto another drive of equivalent size?

If they are exact (same size)....
    dd

If not you can always partition the drive, then do a ....
    cp

BE CAREFUL though, it is always best to
BOOT from floppy -- or -- Single User Mode
before attempting to use these two methods; otherwise, the image will not be
useful.

You can use dd also to just copy a partion on the drive and not the entire
drive.

|
| I know that in Windows there are some tools by Power Quest (I think
| that's the company).

YES, that is the company. Most of the tools also work with Linux as well.
Most will have a DOS application you can use. Most people don't always
reinstall Winduws just to load the application to restore a drive.

Good Luck,
