You say "no, don't continue", and try again.

It's just like the shampoo bottle says.... wash, rinse, repeat... there's no
end. :-)

I went through about 19 iterations.. each one getting just a little bit
further, until lo and behold it all worked.
Good thing I'm not using Windows Update... that works first time, and I
wouldn't appreciate how difficult the task of getting updates really is. :-)

All sorts of chatter about choosing mirrors blah blah blah.... and people
wonder why Linux is not quickly adopted on the desktop....

What I'd like to see is that the default server simply redirects requests to
a random mirror, or a mirror in "round robin" fashion.... then when all the
FC users try to up2date at once, requests are dispersed across mirrors. If
the "expert" user wants to configure a specific mirror that's fine... no
change there.... but for all the newbies that "just want an update applied",
things might work better. And how much horsepower would the default server
need if all it does is redirect traffic. As new mirrors are added, or old
ones die... the default server needs a little update and no change to any of
the install base out there.

Sounds good to me.... and it's got to be better than what happens now.

My opinion, and it's worth every penny you paid for it. :-o
