I do remember an autologin.rpm floating around which was done by
bero at redhat.com .  I used to run it on few of my RedHat boxes, but not
anymore. RPMfind.net shows up with Mandrake version of it:
http://fr2.rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/search.php?query=autologin&submit=Search+...

But it think it will work anyway. :)
