I have tried to install/compile the Tk module of perl (CPAN).
Tried with cpan and also manually.
The older stable tk (v 800.024) fails to compile... no wonder... (it
sais no such switch --center).
The newer unstable tk (v 804.024 beta13) compiles but fails on tests
(make test). 42 out of 45 tests fails.

Eventually found an rpm package produced by ATrpms of the
perl-Tk-800.024-6.rhfc1.at.i386.rpm compiled for the Fedora Core 1,
but installing of Tk::JPEG and Tk::PNG also are failing.

So... what's the deal with Fedora Core 1...

My target is installing and runninc VOCP 0.9.3 (vocp systems).

The guys on Mandrake 9.2 managed to make an rpm out of vocp 0.9.3 and
also provide all the components.

Either I wipe all perl from my linux and try compiling (or just
installing) the perl from src.rpms (or just rpms) from Mandrake 9.2 or
I found a solution or I find another VOCP like system.

For others... VOCP:
Much more than an /answering machine/, VOCP transforms your computer
into a full-featured *call answering* and *voice messaging* system.
With the VOCP System

unlimited number of voicemail
<http://www.vocpsystem.com/voicemail_phone.php?mode=component>, pager

command shell
<http://www.vocpsystem.com/command_shells.php?mode=component> boxes
which callers will navigate using their touch tone telephone. You can
send <http://www.vocpsystem.com/fax_send.php?mode=component> and
receive <http://www.vocpsystem.com/fax_reception.php?mode=component>
faxes, listen to your email

text-to-speech
<http://www.vocpsystem.com/tts_setup.php?mode=component>, filter and
redirect calls
<http://www.vocpsystem.com/callerid_filter.php?mode=component> based
on caller ID
<http://www.vocpsystem.com/callerid_setup.php?mode=component>
information, run programs
<http://www.vocpsystem.com/command_shells.php?mode=component> through
the telephone and more.

Thanks for your help.
