fedora hangs after a shutdown+unmount nfs

Kernel: 2.4.22-1.2140.nptl 

NFS configuration: fedora m/c mounts rh9 nfs mount.

N/w Configuradtion: Fedora m/c with Linksys wireless & rh9 with director
network ethernet connection. 

Manual umount works fine. Only during shutdown process it hangs.
If I take my linksys card out at that moment it just goes to sleep
smoothly. May be it has something to do with bug 100920. But I am not
sure from where I am.

any help will be greatly appreciated.
