[postfix] postfix instead of sendmail (and happy new year)

I don't know what you mean, but here is the official way:
1) Uninstall the sendmail RPM.
2) Install the postfix RPM.

If you wish to keep sendmail along with postfix, do it this way:
1) Install sendmail and postfix RPMs.
2) Install the redhat-switch-mail RPM.
3) Run redhat-switch-mail-nox to change your MTA to postfix.
