I read through the archives, and it seems there are others having problems
with up2date. I made many of the changes referred to in the replies, but
I'm still not able to get updates.

Here is the error I get:
Fetching package list for channel: fedora-core-1...

Fetching
http://fedora.redhat.com/releases/fedora-core-1/headers/header.info...
There was some sort of I/O error: <urlopen error (111, 'Connection
refused')>

My /etc/sysconfig/rhn/sources currently has the following sites:
yum fedora-core-1 http://fedora.redhat.com/releases/fedora-core-1
yum updates-released http://fedora.redhat.com/updates/released/fedora-core-1
#yum updates-testing http://fedora.redhat.com/updates/testing/fedora-core-1

Note: I'm able run up2date on my other Linux boxes which include Aurora and
Red Hat 8.0 & 9.0.
