I have just found out the name of the site designer /maintainer. It is
CKFX Web Designs http://www.ckfx.com/. While at my friend's house, we
noticed that once past the flash intro, he could not get the scroll-bar
to display on his WindowsXP machine under MSIE, even though
he *is* running his 17" monitor at 1024 x 768 resolution.

Despite his advancing age and poor health, my friend Jean-Pierre has
spared no expense for the cost of his web page and plasticized business
cards to promote this site. For as long as I have known him, the
respect, love, and dignified care of the elderly has always been a
moving force in his life.

I have forward the comments of this thread to him, and I feel much
better that it was not the fault of "linux, which always has problems,
and is only used by a mere 2% of people in Montreal", as said by my
downstairs neighbour. (Who is now sheepishly reading the comments on
poor web design).
