Summary: Issues with RHN up2date server -

Solution: Use local mirror (i.e., whichever is closest
to you).

Search http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors.html
or Google for others - select appropriate address as
above

Edit sources, as follows:

## - Jan 4, 2004, change mirror site.
yum fedora-core-1

NB: I ignore the 3rd entry “testing” kept it commented
out.
...

Now run up2date... as normal...
