How can i use rpm to retrive a specific file from a package?

Check if your rpm is good. It might be incomplete or corrupt.
md5sum sendmail-8.12.10-1.1.1.i386.rpm
1787392cd6455978ba0181726d89842b sendmail-8.12.10-1.1.1.i386.rpm
ls -l sendmail-8.12.10-1.1.1.i386.rpm
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 1018439 Oct 29 13:39
sendmail-8.12.10-1.1.1.i386.rpm
