I followed your instructions. Nothing helped.
After some further investigation, the first error
message is
libvte.so.4 (complaining some symbols cannot be loaded).
(The next sequence of messages complain rhgb-client
cannot load libglib-2.0.so.0)
In root,
ldd /usr/lib/rhgb-client
libglib-2.0.so.0 => /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 (0x00c47000)
libpopt.so.0 => /usr/lib/libpopt.so.0 (0x00865000)
libc.so.6 => /lib/tls/libc.so.6 (0x00315000)
/lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x002fd000)
Thus rhgb-client actually does not need libvte.
ldd /usr/bin/rhgb, i get a long list with the
first line
libvte.so.4 => /usr/lib/libvte.so.4 (0x00631000
ll /usr/lib/libvte.so*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 15 Jan 14 14:50

/usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0.200.3
My /etc/grub.conf is enclosed below.
What can I do now?
