masquerading envelope not working in mutt

Yes, the received lines are to be read from bottom to top.

Might be that the provider uses some machines to route the mail, maybe
for checking and filtering.

To see your private IP address in the header is quite normal. Look at my
mail's header.

There is no bounce reason! Where do you see any? The warning is just a
warning which Sendmail produces if you force the sender.

I do not know mutt in detail but can state that you in most cases you
will need a resolvable FQDN for your sendmail host if you directly send
with it to foreign MTAs. And it does not matter what you put into your
.muttrc as envelope sender name. Only foolish configured MTAs will
accept incoming mail by other hosts which are not resolvable. So you
need to use your provider's SMTP server as smarthost in Sendmail if you
have no resolvable host.
